GOOD CAREER ETIQUETTE

If you have just started a new business or job, or you are considering leaving your present one remember  that its essential never to burn your bridges. If you are leaving  a job because you are not happy there , or feel you have been badly treated never put this down in writing , when submitting registration letter .
if you are called in for  an exit interview be diplomatic , rather say i am moving on because of a better opportunity has presented itself and leave it at that .
Bad mouthing your boss and colleagues may make you feel better at the thing but you would be amazed at how things can rebound when you least expect them to especially if you work in a small industry where people end up working together  again few years later, or where your  reputation precedes you from your previous company . If you have just started a new job, make it a  policy never to be indiscreet about your opinions.
Try to thank three times before saying any thing that could backfire on you and possibly  jeopardize your ambition at the organization . This includes office gossips , trashing other peoples performance, looks or behavior. It is a surprisingly small  world and never forget that professional behavior is an integral part of professional success.
